Who are we?

Staff, Values, Mission Statement & Historical Reflections

The Powassan United Church congregation is a tight-knit community of warm and welcoming individuals who come together to worship and support one another in their small town. From the moment you step through the doors of their quaint and charming church, you'll feel like you're part of the family.

Rev. Fraser Williamson is a wonderful leader and the heart of the Powassan United Church congregation. As the minister of the church, he exudes kindness, warmth, and genuineness in all that he does. His passion for serving the community and spreading God's love is evident in his words and actions.

Anne-Marie is an essential member of the Powassan United Church team, serving as the church office administrator. Her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude make her an invaluable asset to the congregation.

Church Council

Each of the Council members is a key leader in helping our congregation to care for our life together, and to reach out beyond our circle to God’s world. Read more about the process our council member follows on their path of decision making and leadership.

Our mission is to follow Jesus' teachings and other compatible insights, live our love actively, welcome all, create a nurturing environment for growth, be an umbrella community, and serve our communities and the world through various initiatives including Grace House and Mission and Service Fund.
